Quick Handmade Ornaments

I've recently become addicted to the October Afternoon line of papers, especially the Christmas ones. I wanted to use them in some of my holiday decorating, so I decided to make some quick plastic ornaments with  the shape stickers from their Very Merry collection.

For some reason, I can never find the ornaments that split in half in my Michaels anymore, so I'm have to roll up my stickers and push them through the top (I actually like the look of no seams better anyway, so I'm willing to spend the extra time).

OA Very Merry Cardstock Stickers, one adhered inside, one outside

OA Very Merry Cardstock Stickers, glitter inside using the floor polish method

OA Very Merry Cardstock Stickers, microbeads inside using the floor polish method

OA Very Merry Cardstock Sticker outside enhanced with pearls:
inside is OA 5 & Dime Strawberry Creme Sprinklers
and floor polish with  Martha Stewart tinsel glitter

OA Rub-on from a Santa Sack on a clear ornament.
I loved the look of this so much, I made several more.

Sorry it's so dark. As you can see from the previous one,
they're very shiny and were reflecting any light in the room.

  1. Wow Diane - these turned out great, I'm going to have to try the rub-ons.
