Northern California Circle Crop, June 3, 2011

Katie from Crafting with Katie and I carpooled up to Rocklin, CA for the Northern California Crop on June 3, 2011. We arrived Thursday night to attend the dinner and met up with Emma from My Creative Time and Liz from Liz's Paper Loft, but had to make one stop before dinner.

Now what in a shopping center would make Emma and Katie take a picture?

Green Tangerines!

Where Katie and I live in the SF Bay Area, all the local scrapbook stores closed, and we're left with Michaels and Joanns, so this was a treat.

We met up with our other Circlets at Chevy's for dinner, but my pictures from there didn't turn out, so we'll have to see what the others post. Liz wasn't feeling too well, so Emma, Katie, & I made a Target and Walmart run to get her some Get Well supplies. While Liz slept, we all hung out with Sandy from Ukiah until pretty late at night.

The crop was at the Ranch House in Rocklin. What an awesome community center!
Thanks to Monique Griffith for arranging the location!

We may have had a summer time theme, but it was gray with the promise of rain that night, so we were glad to be indoors.

Michael came out from Provo Craft and gave us a tutorial on the Yudu with our awesome California Circle Flair screen.

Thank you to RitaPoteat and her crew for pulling this all together! Rita makes some awesome salads if you're looking for some great recipes.
